Is Taking Levothyroxin For A Long Period,safe?

thyroid medicine...
few months back I started the lowest dose for levothyroxin. then within 3months of taking the medication I had a blood test done and it turned out my medicine was working.... so my main question is that should I continue taking medicine since I don't have an insurance till April of next year and won't be able to do blood test till than... so is it save to continue taking hormone medication?

Hello,
It is safe to take the medicine. Once your TSH level is normalized, you can wait for 6 months to do the test again. You may please continue the medicine
