Is The Pain In The Shoulder During The Movement Due To The Outward Pressure?

playing football, I reached to tag someone and my arm was pushed sideways when fully extended. Now my shoulder hurt when I move my arm. I have full range of motion, but is painful. Minimal strength with pain when trying to push hands together. Is okwith outward pressure.
