Is There Alternative Treatment For Gangrene To Avoid Amputation?

My grand father is diabetic patient ,he is having an injury on his leg , doctor's are saying this is case of gangerene(may be dry gangerene) his leg's finger need to be amputated (his leg's finger got blackish)

, pls anyone who can tell me is there any other way to save him from amputation?

Hi,
There is no alternative of amputation to prevent more damage and spreading to legs high up.
If he will not go for amputation then in future there is possibility of amputation of leg.
Control diabetes.
Ok and take care.
