Is There Any Difference Between Speckled Blue Pill And Football Shaped Pill Of Phentermine?

I was taking phentermine 37.6 manufactured by Mutual Pharmaceuticals. The pharmacy went out of business so I switched pharmacies & the new pharmacy does not & will not order from that company. I believe the oblong speckled blue pill works a lot better than the football shaped barely speckled pills I now get. Is there a difference?

Hello,

If it is the same dosage, in theory, it should be equivalent. However, different manufacturers do put various agents in with their medications (for the stability of the medication, time release, etc.) and these vary from one manufacturer to the next. Patients do sometimes note a difference in generic vs name brand for some medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
