Is There Any Synthetics In Generic Brand Alvogen Or Is It Still Natural Hormone?
I was prescribe VIVELLE [dot] 0.05 for the past 8+ yrs. and was told this is a natural hormone . However the pharmacy fill the past three prescribsions with a generic brand Alvogen (also 0.05). Is there any synthics in this brand or is it still natural hormone?

The hormone is a natural substance but today they are synthesized in the laboratories and are modified in a creative way to reduce adverse effects so to make them safe.
The Vivelle and Alvogen have the same hormone and can be taken interchangeably but one at a time.
