Is There Anything To Be Worried Of A 4 Year Old Having Blue Bruising On Back Side Of Both Shoulders?
My four year old daughter came home with red/blue bruising on the back side of both shoulders. To me, it looks like she was grabbed tightly for an extended period. I'm going to speak with her daycare tomorrow but I'm wondering if I should make an appointment with her pediatrician

Physical abuse should be ruled out.
If it was a spontaneous bruise, she has to be examined and basic blood tests might be needed to rule out any problems with platelets or clotting factors.
