Is There Anything To Worry In A 10 Year Old Having Blood In Stool?

My 10 year old daughter has been to the toilet 3 times today each time she had passed stoles. When she wiped her self she had bright red blood on tissue. She also said some was in the toilet but I never got to see as she put tissue on top. Should I be worried?

Many times this can be caused by small abrasions in the anal area. This can usually be remedied with stool softeners which give the abrasions the opportunity to heal. However, blood in the stool multiple times is still something that should be discussed with your doctor.
