Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had carpal tunnel release surgery on the 15, went back to dr on the 21 to have bandage removed and was instructed to clean 3x day with peroxide and quips and then to apply and antibiotic ointment. The skin minus the purple tint from the surgical marker is white, almost like the color that your hands and feet turn if you have been soaking in water too long. Is this normal?
HI Well come to HCM If the skin part being kept under the bandage particularly in orthopedic condition then this could become tittle white and this is absolutely normal condition and no need to worry about this and this would comes to normal very soon, take care.
