Is Wrist Pain With Numbness Normal For Carpal Tunnel Syndrome ?

For the past few weeks I have been feeling pain in both of my wrists. When my wrists are not in pain I am feeling a semi numbness in both of my wrists. I talked to a few people and they said it might be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I agree with them, but not only is that feeling in my wrists, it is also in both of my arms and shoulders. Is that normal for Carpal Tunnel or is it something else?

Hi,
In carpal tunnel pain which is of burning type, more during nights, increase during doriflexion ,may radiate to radial 3fingers associated with numbness tingling sensation of same fingers. On examination (falen, tinnel ,....) n investigation( including X ray , NCV ,MRI n blood investigation ......)it can be diagnosed and managed with splints , injections and operative decompression .
Having pain at shoulder and may have other pathology probably could be radiculopathy so in my opinion visit orthopaedics centre and get checked n treated accordingly .

Thanks n regards
