Itching In Outer Labia. Why?
I have been having an itching in my outer labia towards the front and I noticed a small lump on the left side. I looked at it with a mirror and the area is a white crusty area on the surface of the skin. No bleeding or discharge . I am 58 years old and went thru menopause at age 42. I am not sexually active. Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have what is called as Atrophic Vaginitis which is common in post menopausal age group.
It is primarily due to deficiency of Hormone (Oestrogen)
Please consult qualified Gynaecologist for clinical examination .She may prescribe you hormonal cream for local application and hormonal supplements orally.
Please ensure to clean your genitals with anti microbial solution Betadine twice daily.
