Itchy Rashes Developed After Taking Augmentin For Severe Tonsillitis. Should I Change Medication?

I have severe tonsilitis. I took Tab. AUGMENTIN 625 mg three times a day for five days. I have developed an itchy rash on my upper body. I have stopped taking augmentin but as the problem is stil there should I switch to cephradine? Please give your expert opinion. I wil realy appreciate your help.. thank you

it is better to change the antibiotic...cephaliridine being a cephalosporine,there is a probabilty of cross allergy with amoxycillin.a far better option for you is azithromycin.
