Hi, I was admitted to hospital with jaundice and terrible itching doctors suspected a blockage in the bile duct, I had an ultrasound and ct scan but the results where normal.then the doctor noticed I had taken co amoxiclav weeks before for a urine infection,and that they could have caused it do you think that could have caused my problems.

hello.Thanks for using healthcare magic..I have gone through your history..Co-amoxiclav taken weeks before can less likely cause itching..Your itching can be due to jaundice itself..In jaundice there is increase in bile salt and bile pigment which can cause itching..
