Leg Injury, Edema, Redness, Inflammation, Clear Drainage. Any Idea?

Hi, may I answer your health queries?
Hello, about a month ago I injured the back of both legs. I am overweight and have suffered from fairly severe edema in my lower extremities for a couple of years. The injury to both my legs is not healing. Both areas are red, inflammed, and there is a significant amount of clear drainage. It looks more like lesions now than the cuts they were originally. I'm wondering if you have any idea what might behappening and what I can do to help the wounds heal.
