Lump In Armpit, Brown Discharge, Swollen. Have Endometriosis. Endometrial Cyst?
Hi, Last night I noticed a lump in my armpit,I squeezed it this morning and it discharged a brown fluid, then some blood mixed with lighter brown goo and then just pure blood. The lump is slightly smaller now,and in fact feels more like it is just swollen and irritated rather than full of something.I am 24 years old and have endometriosis ,could this be an endometrial cyst?
Hello
This lump is an abscess formed most likely because of blocked and infected sweat gland.
It becomes all right, once the pus comes out of it,as it has happened in you.
This is not the endometrial cyst.
Endometrial cysts are formed in endometrium and inner lining of uterus is known as endometrium.
Thanks

this could not be endometrial cyst as it occurs in neighbourhood of endometrium and it may be skin infection dont squeeze it if it is smaller 1or 2cm size it will subside itself when applied antiseptic ointment. if it is larg or increasing in size and pain consult surgeon. you can apply hot sponging over it to destroy germs. keep the area clean with twice daily soap wash
