Lump On Wrist. Having Arthritis. Are These Related?

I have a lump on my right wrist which is causing me much pain. I have been to a Neurologist and I do not have nerve or muscle damage. I have been to a hand specialist and had an MRI and he has ruled out carpel tunnel and a ganglion cyst. He said I have arthritis. Do people with arthritis present with a lump on their wrist (palm side)? The lump also fluctuates in size and sometimes the back of my hand swells. Thank you for taking my question.

Hello,

Arthritis with tenosynovitis of the wrist joint.

The swelling and pain is due to tenosynovitis of the wrist joint.
It is basically inflammation and thickening of the covering membrane of the wrist joint.

It may be due to trauma in the past or extensive use of the wrist.

Consult an Orthopedician. He will help you from this condition.
