Menopause. Bleeding, Small Clots. Cervical Ablation Several Years Back. Problem?

Nine years ago I had a cervical ablation at the age of 54. This immediately put me into menopause and I only spotted for a couple of months after.
In April 2013 I started to bleed again. At first it was just a little spotting, but turned into a regular period lasting about 10 days requiring the wearing of protection and small clots falling into the toilet.
About a 10 days ago it started again.
What could be the cause of this?

hello user,
There are many causes of postmenopausal bleed in a female, some are just damn simple and benign like due to abrasion in the vagina, due to dryness etc ; But some are related to more severe illness like cervical malignancy, or endometrial malignacy !!!

I advice you to have PAP smear and Ultrasonography done, and get yourself examined internally by a gynecologist too, to rule out the cause of bleed !!!

hope my info helped you
