Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

Based on your description, your child seems to suffer from developmental delay. At this stage, there is no role of any medicines.

Please continue with the physiotherapy.

Regarding your herpes simplex infection, please consult an internal medicine specialist. In most cases, treatment is only required in the active stage of infection. So, if you have no clinical evidence of infection, acyclovir (the medicine used for treating herpes simplex) may not be required.

Best wishes,
