Muscle Back Pain. Diagnosed It As Polymyalger, Same. Help?
I am 70 have been getting muscle back pain after night time in bed or long periods of sitting in the evening, fine if only 4 hours lying down. have a chiropractor bed fairly new, but had this pain before the bed.
Dr has found Polymyalger am taking drugs for it all other symptoms have gone but not the lower back pain which extends around to tummy. once moving in morning slowly debates help Aileen
According to your symptoms back pain can be due to diffuse disc bulge compressing your lumbar spine or muscle sprain.
I will advice for MRI lumdar spine .
Till time some medication like methylcobalamine and analgesic will reduce pain, you can take them consulting your treating doctor. You may consult physiotherapist for guidance. He may start TENS, or ultrasound which is helpful in your case.
