My 9 Month Old Son Developed A Rash And Red Circles Under Eyes, What This Could Be ?
My 9 month old son developed a rash all over his body a few days ago and now has red circles under his eyes. No other symptoms. Any ideas of what this could be ?

I realize this is from October 2010, but did you ever find out what this was? My 15 month old has the same thing now.
This seems to be a very old question, but it can be due to heat, scarlet fever, measles, drug reaction, food allergy, insect bite or sun exposure. I wonder which one this was. It seems that the questioner must come online and clarify the problem.

Hi,thanks for query.the commonest reasons could viral infection,some contact allergy.please look for something that has been recently changed,soap ,powder,oil etc.If he having itching or some problem you need to see a doctor,otherwise wait for it go on its own.bye.

Her pediatrician, who I spoke to on the phone only, and I are suspecting that it is Roseola since she had a fever for a few days before (sorry I didn't mention), but I didn't see anything online that mentioned this pink area around the eyes, so I was just wondering if it might be something else. I will see how it develops over the next 24-48 hours. Thank you so much for responding.
