Need Medication For A Large Bruise On The Right Side Of The Head Due To An Injury

Hi, Monday morning my 5and 1/2 month old baby fell out of my bed and hit her head on the side of the bed. We have a wood box frame that holds the mattress I think she hit that. I was in the kitchen making her milk so I didn't see what happened and was not sure what she hit. I checked her body all over for 2 days after and did not see any bruising on any part. Now 4 days later I was giving her milk and ran my hand on her head and I feel a large bruise on the right side of her forehead. It's very soft. She cried a lot Monday night in her sleep but was fine after that. Should I be worried?

Pediatrician 's  Response
greetings,
the first 24 hours after an injusr are very important and child should be kept under stgronmg supervision.
since 24 hours have already crossed and you noticed the bruise now, check whether its tender or not.
i would say its better if you can get it physically examined once as it is necessary to rule out any injury.
Hope this has helped.
Thanks and Regards.
