Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
HI our daughter is 4 years old and has been experiencing blood sugar drops for almost two years now. We have had tons of blood work ran on her and it keeps coming back with inconsistencies, but the doctor has not been able to pin down a diagnoses. Just recently we found that she has high cortisol and high alkaline phosphate. We are looking at a testing her for a genetic disorder called Fructose 1-6 deficiency, but when I look at the symptoms associated with this disorder online, I am not convinced. Just wondering if we are overlooking something.
hi,sorry to hear about your daughter, the condition you describe seems to be hypoglycemia and associated endocrine problem.since she is having multiple problems i would suggest to see a pediatric endocrinologist who would correctly pinpoint the problem.good day
