Noticed Brown Mucus In Stools. What Could This Be?

I have brown mucus in my stools which has just tested positive for blood also. I have an appoint in 3 weeks with a gastroenterologist but today just under my ribs on left side my stomach started twitching sorta feels like a small baby kicking. I am female 34yes. What could this be and should I be concerned with this strange new feeling?

hi, you might be suffering from simple amoebiasis dysentry, kind of infection transmitted through contiminated water. you need antiamoebic drugs and antispasmodics. see your physician first.
