Noticed Pain On The Right Thumb Due To An Injury

i had an injury to my right thumb about ten years ago then at times it would go numb and then hurt every now and then. It seemed to get worse when I gained weight and when i lie down at night. About three weeks ago it has gone from my hand getting numb and my forearm with extreme pain. It even stays numb with a little pain while up and about. My neck is always stiff. I don t know whether to see a Doctor about my hand or back?

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query, as you have injury in your thumb you , now numbness, and pain is there it can be also due to nerve injury or may be due to muscles strain also so you should consult doctor and go for investigations Hand wrist radiograph for that.
Hope this will help you.
