Numb And Hard Lower Stomach After C-section. Severe Bleeding. Feeling Tired. Worried
I am 37 years old and have 2 children. I had my last child 2 years ago by c-section. Every since my c-section, my lower stomach has been numb and hard. I have been menstruating for 6 months (Very heavy) and have recently been passing large blood clots. The size of 1/2 the palm of my hand. I am tired all the time. I tried birth control pills but I still bleed. What might be the problem? Will this pass or should I be concerned?
hi there, to adress your first concern, the numbness in your lower abdominal wall could be due to damage to the superficial cutaneus nerve which runs superficially in the abdominal wall and may get cut during c-section.The second part of heavy bleeding needs to be evaluated by a gynecologist to rule out DUB or dysfunctional uterine bleeding due to various causes. The tiredness and weakness could be due to excessive blood loss leading to anemia and you will nedd to get your blood routine exams done and started on supplimental iron tablets. Do consult a gynecologist for the heavy bleeding and do not try self medication with hormonal pills. Take care.
