On And Off Itching In Vagina Due To Yeast Infection. Had Crusty Brown Discharge. Should I Be Concerned?

Hi. I am feeling a bit itchy "down there." It's usually because of an oncoming yeast infection. But the other day after intercourse with my husband I bled enough to need a pantyliner. The bleeding has stopped and the itch comes and goes. It's slight. But today I noticed a little bit of brown crusty discharge. Should I be concerned? I am 36, if age has anything to do with what I am experiencing.

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
I went through your history and have a strong opinion that it is a sign of vaginal infection. You must visit your gynecologist. She may prescribe a course of empirical antibiotic containing fluconazole, azithromycin and tinidazole...and may give you some vaginal suppositories.
The problem is easy to cure, but delays invites complication....

Best wishes
