Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
From your Query, I suspect you may suffering from Herniated disc in spine.

Because you have stabbing type of pain in both back and leg muscles.

It is due to compression of the nerve roots in spine by Herniated intervertebral disc.

It can be easily detected by CT and MRI Spine.

You Need physical examination by neurologist to identify the which IV disc is prolapsed by neurological examination.

Usual treatment is bed rest and physiotherapy.

Most of the patients recover in 6 weeks of treatment.

Surgery may needed if you have severe pain and bony problems in spine.

Hope this helps.
Take care.

Regards,
Dr.Manjeth.
