I have high uric acid levels and have been put on gout medicine. I am trying to figure out what is the trigger for the flare up of gout. I am wondering about the affects of bumetanide and Micardis. If any side affects could trigger the gout flair up...

Taking a high protein diet like non vegetarian food, red meat, pulses, alcohol, etc do aggravate an attack of gout. Taking Vitamin C supplements and citrus fruits will decrease the attacks.
