My father has been identified with ILD and he on medication through a Pulmonologist. For the last 3 days he has not slept and whenever he breathes through the mouth he feels too much breathlessness. His pulmonologist has suggested T.Zolfresh 5mg to be given to him. Is it ok to give that and what side effects could it have?
Central nervous system: Abnormal dreams, anxiety, apathy, amnesia, ataxia, attention disturbance, body temperature increased, burning sensation, confusion, depersonalization, depression, disinhibition, disorientation, drowsiness, drugged feeling, euphoria, fatigue,
ILD is a long term treatment ...you need to add on treatment ....zolfresh is okay but breathless sign is dangerous ADD-ON treatment is required for ild consult your pulomonoligist again
take care
For sleep disturbances, Tablet zolfresh 5 mg is good option.
One may have postural giddiness if he suddenly wake up and start walking. To prevent that, He should change the position slowly and he should wait in one changed position for few seconds.
thanks.
