One Leg And Foot Larger Than The Other, Dark Patches On Hands And Legs, Discoloration. What May Be Wrong?

Hi Doctor,
I'm writing now for a friend. I've noticed that one of her legs are larger than the other, as well as her foot. She also limps when she walks. Her larger leg is also darker in color. There is also some dark discoloration/strait ions around her neck and some dark rough patches on her hands and legs. Any guesses what this may be?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The slight variation in the size of the limbs with a normal strength can be due to a physiological variation or a muscle hypertrophy on one side due to overuse of one side. The dark patches are likely to be pigmentation patches or hypermelanosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
