Pain And Burning In The Knee Cap Without Injury. Need To Go To The Doctor?
hello. was just wondering the last few weeks if i bend down on my right knee on the floor it hurts really bad on my knee cap and it feels like a burning sensation for a few seconds . i havent falling over or hit my knee ,it just started a few weeks ago i havent been to a docotor and not sure if i would as i was hoping it would go away but it hasnt.
What us your age and weight ? If more then 45 then a lot of times due to overweight the knee cap and the joints space gets reduced and causes a lot friction causing pain. It is called an osteoarthritis. Also an another possibility is of a ligament injury which can occur due to an unusual twist or turn of the joints. Even bursitis below the knee cap will cause a lot of pain and inflammation So get a xray of the knee joint AP and lateral and see an orthopedician
