My left hand hurt very bad. I cannot bend my left thumb at all now. It hurts me to move it. When I do try and move it ,it will not bend and when I do bend it ,it just locks up on me. My hand has start to swell. Tis has been going on for about 2wks and the pain is starting to get worse. I went to see a Dr and he gave me some medicine call meloxicam 15mg. I have been taking these pills and my hand is feeling worse.

Hi, it appears to be the arthritis, of inter phalyngeal, and metacarpo phalyngeal joints. or may be bursitis.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and ofloxacin, and antiinflamatories.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods. Thank you.
