Pain In Right Forearm When The Pressure Is Put. What Should I Do?
I went to a Ball and the next day when I woke up I had a shooting pain in my right forearm. I didn't think much of it but the next morning I got it again and again today morning. The pain lasts the entire day especially when I straighten it out or put pressure towards the centre of the forearm but the pain is most painful when I wake up. What happened to my forearm and what should I do?
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM. Propably you could have developed forearm muscle strain (not sprain), which usually occurs as a result of unaccustomed physical activity. It should get resolved within a week. The only thing needed is a little bit of rest, hot fomentation along with pain killers for few days. If the pain still persists, you need an orthosurgeons consultation. Hope this helps

Hello and Welcome to HCM,
Thanks for writing to us.
Pain in right forearm seems to be due to muscle spasm. Applying muscle relaxant gel and doing stretching exercise will help in relieving the spam. If it persisted get it evaluated by your doctor.
Hope this helps you.
Wishing you good health...
Regards.
