Pain In The Chest And Shoulder, Inflamed Armpit. What Is It?
For the past week i have had a mild to shap pain around my left chest connecting to the shoulder and upper arm. At times it feels like my left side of heart is tearing away just for once and then normalises. Just yesterday after taking a bath, as i stood in front of the mirror, i noticed that the upper left side going down to the lower armpit is abit inflammed. I do not feel very painful when i press the area and i beleive the pain comes right from inside. Please help with the diagnosis here...
If you have felt inflammation in the armpit region, pain coming from inside, There is a possibility of a enlarged lymphnode in the area. If this has appeared within days then an acute infection must be suspected. Please have it looked int by your doctor and take antibiotics if prescribed. If the inflammation persists, an ultrasound scan of the axilla might be required.
Hope this helps.
