Pain In The Chest And Sternum Area. History Of Silicone Breast Implants And Costochondritis. Tight Clothing For Exercising. Advice

I had silicone unders breast implants 5 weeks ago & I also have costochondritis. My ps told me I was able to run & do abs again & I have been doing well but in the last week I've been having lots of chest & sternum area pain. Feels like severe costo pain I've had in the past but I'm worried the implants are exacerbating the pain. Also, it's always bothered my chest/sternum area wearing tight bras which of course I've had to do running & just every day now. What's goin on?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in your ribs is likely to be due to costochondritis. Since it is an immune related disorder, the relief can be had by mild pain killers and a hot fomentation in the area. Avoid any tight clothing till then.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
