Pain In The Lower Legs, Swelling. Feeling Pressure In The Veins. Reason?

My aunt who is 55 Years of age (no diabetes etc) and who has generally been a fit woman suddenly developed pain in her lower legs accompanied by swelling and Doctor said its some sort of infection due to hot weather. Its been 10 days now with very little benefit and the swelling and pain has also developed in one of the knees (left one). Doctor says the condition will show improvement in about a months time. She feels a constant tesion in her veins and is not able to move much. Please advise

hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic forum. The pain in the lower legs with swelling could be infective in origin. If the veins are tortuous and dilated then varicose veins is the condition, in which the valves of veins are damaged .You can elevate her legs and keep a pillow underneath to enable venous drainage.
Dont worry, you can also take your aunt to a good homoeopath for help. The medicines are safe and effective.good luck.thanks
