Pain In The Throat After Blowing The Nose. Difficulty In Talking And Swallowing. Any Suggestions?

Had a cold last week and when I blew my nose once and it caused a painful reaction in my throat around the area of my voice box. Over, a week later, this area of my throat still hurts to the touch, and it is mildly painful to talk and swallow. Did I somehow bruise the tissues in this area and its still healing, or what else could explain this issue?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Dear,
As per the history you have given and the clinical findings you may be suffering with acute laryngo pharyngitis. You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic and analgesics for one week . you should take steam inhalation twice daily for 5 days.
But still I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer.
Yours sincerely
