Pain In The Upper Thigh After Walking. Could There Be A Ligament Strain? Need Medication

Walk 5 miles a day and started to develop pain in upper thigh close to the inner aspect of leg - not groin a little lower more towards the thigh. Appears more intense during inclines vs. Downhill walking. Thinking iliofemoral ligament strain. Should I decrease miles or stop for a bit and slowly increase distance. Allergic to NSAIDs - acetaminophen?

Hello, I have gone through your query.
In my opinion unless you have stress on your muscles forcefully or hurt. you do not usually have ligament tear. You should be ruling out the arterial disease like atherosclerosis or embolism.
Hope this helped you.
Thanks.
