General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a stretched ligament. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest to use a brace to maintain the area immobilized. Ice therapy and elevation can be helpful in treating the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
