Painful Ankle, Swelling, Bruised, Knot In Foot. What Can Be Done?

my son fell playing baseball last weekend and hurt his ankle. it did not swell but he complained of it hurting while walking. we iced it and had him prop it up. well today he comes home from school and sayed that he hurt his ankle again. he has a bruise on it and a knot on the top side of his foot close to the ankle bone. what should i do

Get him checked in ER?otho clinics. Ankle support in elastocrepe may be needed. Also X ray to rule out bone fracture. He should refrain from weight bearing till checked for injury.
