Pigmentation On Vagina With Black, Flat, Mole Like Spots. History Of Having Hysterectomy. Advice
I had a hysterectomy at 29 yrs old after four children I am now 47 years old and think I am menopausal. I have developed pigmentation on my vagina inside and black like spots have increased they are like moles but flat? This is a little embarassing my husband says I should get them checked. I do have to admit I have never had a vaginal check up with my specialist or GP. Thank you
Hi, Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. Welcome to ehealthforum, It is difficult to comment on the cause for the black spots on vaginal lips that you describe without examining them. Look out for development of any new symptoms. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for examination and further evaluation to look for the underlying cause (especially rule out infective cause). The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation done by your doctor/gynecologist. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you control the symptoms.
