Pimple Like Bumps On Chin, On Neck, Painful. Remedy?

I have white pimple-like bumps (lots) all over my chin & to the side of the mouth. They are situated on red skin that burns. Also, have stinging red bumps on the back of my neck. I'm 68 years old and have always had good skin. This has occurred very suddenly, just over the past two days. What is it, and how do I care for it?
Thanks, Sandy

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query,

you might be suffering from furuncle.

It is a deep bacterial infection.

Take a course of antibiotics.

Apply an antibacterial cream like mupirocine.

Hot fomentation is also good,

It helps in accumulation of pus, which can be drained later.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
