Pinky Finger Hurt And In Pain With Bruising And Swelling. What Can Be Wrong?

I was catching something on shelf that was falling and some how hurt my pinky finger , instant pain but no bruising and little tinny bit of swelling . I don t know what can be wrong. The pain gets worse and worse and stiff and hard to bend or grab things and twistlile door knob.it the little knuckle and big knuckle that hurt. What can be wrong? Should O get it looked at? I start Kung Fu next week.

I would suggest you to get a hand x ray and take a opinion from an orthopaedic surgeon as so much pain and restricted movement are suggesting that it can be a fracture, if not very big then a hairline. I would also recommend you to apply ice take Brufen and splint finger till then.
