Pregnant. Took Another Test Which Says Not Pregnant. Will Hcg Level Go Down To Show Negative Result?

my girlfriend is pregnant probably about four weeks an the doctor confirmed the pregnancy a week ago an now she took another test to see if she was still pregnant an it says not pregnant but she has not had any symptoms of miscarriage is it possible her hcg level could go down to where a pregnancy test wont give a positive result

Urine pregnancy test kit sometimes can give false positive and false negative results.
This depends on many factors like, the sample used, the time interval between adding the sample and reading the result.

So depending on the result of the urine pregnancy test, sometimes we may not come to one conclusion.
So, you better go for blood test for pregnancy or ultrasound.
Blood test gives more accurate result compared with urine pregnancy test.
Ultrasound helps in detecting the pregnancy and also to find out the gestational age.
By examination and these investigations you can come to one conclusion regarding pregnancy.
If pregnancy is confirmed, you can continue with regular antenatal checkups and ultrasound examinations.
If the possibility of the pregnancy is ruled out, she can take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding with your doctor's advice.
