Premature Baby, Active, Tiredness, Lack Of Appetite. How Much Sugar Can Baby Be Given?

Hi,
My son is 24 months old n was premature baby( born in seven months) at the weight of 1.36 kg n now his weight is 8.8 kg. He is super active but doesn't eat at all tried everything n even visited doctors n dieticians but nothing worked.
He drinks 500-750 ml milk a day
Nothing else
Tried pediasure but that decreased his appetite
How much sugar can be given to him in a day?

I need ur help in this regards

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Decreasing his milk intake may increase his appetite. This may help to increase his intake of fruits and vegetables.
You may have to get him examined for conditions like anemia which may cause decreased appetite.
Do not give him sugar separately just to increase his calorie intake. You may just add sugar to milk to taste but not just to increase his calorie intake.
