Prescribed Primolut To Cause Withdrawal Bleeding To Investigate Possible PCO, But No Bleeding Yet. What To Do ?

hi! I was prescribed Primolut N 5 mg TDS for 5 days by my doctor to cause withdrawal bleeding so that I could get my blood tests done to investigate a possible PCO. I have taken the medicine for 5 days however it's been 3 days now that I have left it n still no withdrawal bleeding. I wanted to know what should I do about my blood tests now?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You can wait for another 3-4 days for period to come, then you can go for your blood test.
You can consult a gynaecologist for ultrasonography to rule out PCOD till your period come.
Good luck.
Take care.
