Prescribed Yasmin For PCOS. When Will I Get Periods?

HELLO DR, I WANT TO INQUIRE MY DR HAS PRESCRIBED ME TAB YASMIN AS I HAVE PCOS ,IM GETTING MARRIED ON 25TH JAN 2013 AND WILL BE BACK FROM MY HONEYMOON ON 10TH FEB 2013,TODAY IS MY 2ND DAY OF PERIODS, IF I START WITH TAB YASMIN FROM TODAY SO AFTER COMPLETION OF 21 DAYS WHEN WILL I GET PERIODS AND WHEN SHOULD I START AGAIN WITH THE COURSE ONCE I GET MY NEXT PERIODS?SINCE I DONT WANT TO HAVE PERIODS ON MY DAY OF MARRAIGE AND HONEYMOON...THANKU

hello,
You have PCOS and taken YASMIN tab to regularize your period.
You should take One tab daily on scheduled time from day 1 of your period to 21 days continuously. Then pill off for 7 days and you get withdrawal bleeding similar to period on those days.
Next packet will be started after period over like (21 days ON-7 days OFF-21 days ON...continue)
If your period becomes regular,then you certainly not get period on marriage day.
