Rabies Injection Will Be Effective Even If Taken After A Delay?

Hi doctor, I asked an query here regarding rabies and I took five course of rabies injection for a lick on my healed wound. With a small opening which was said by a doctor that it was not an opening but the skin is white in colour in that place since it Is healed.Anyhow I took five injection at a delay of one day and adjusted the schedule according to it.I took the first vaccine at 0 day and the next vaccine at 4th day and the next I adjusted the schedule according to the change as told by the doctor.I took the vaccines one day later than the.scheduled day and my doctor said it is fine to take one day later.I finished the Course correctly I put the final vaccine a.day lateral scheduled. Now after that I have always thought that I would get rabies and I am living in fear everyday.I think what if the vaccines won t work or what if the nurse did not put the vaccines correctly and so on I have symptoms that make me think I have rabies but go away and come again. It has been four months since the incident and I am living In fear daily.help me pls Doctor!!!!

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
The incubation period of rabies is 2 months to 2 years.
As you have taken vaccine prior to 2 months and before you suffer from Rabies and completed the full course, you need not worry.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
