Rashes On Chin, Neck, Armpits, Trunk, Had Cold. Is It Virus?

My son is 5 months old and I noticed yesterday he broke out into a rash after his nap. It's under his chin, on the back of his neck, armpits and around his diaper line with a few spots on his trunk. I took him to express care and they said it was a virus, like a cold, and that it should go away. It blanches when I push on it, but instead on little dots it's more in clusters now. Should I be concerned. No fever.

I suggest that it is better to wait and watch. Observation over the next day or two will tell you whether the rash is increasing or subsiding. As there is no history of fever or any cough or running nose, the rash should fade over time.
