Reason For Having Itchy Skin All Over Body When All Test Are Clear

Female 36 itchy skin all area of body,pathology ,biopsy performed skin and allergy testing no results.Diet products changed ,washing soap powders all skin and hair products tested no change.Prescription creams applied several different types no change,medication for stress given no change.My skin gets itchy all over leaving massive red area marks ,and heat coming from under the skin,marks stay present for at least 1hr before skin colour goes back to normal.My skin is not dry ,no blisters no rash.Sorry no payment

Hello,
Thanks for writing to HCM

Itching can occur due to various reasons, internal reason and external. Dust, food, worms, sweat, jaundice are few common reason for itching throughout the body.
I recommend you few tests, Serum IgE, CBC, liver function test.
I advice you to bath twice daily with antibacterial soap. Donot apply powder. Use cotton clothing, lose fighting when you are at home.
Take T.fexofenadine once daily at night.
Apply caladryl lotion if itching is severe. If itching is not severe use plain Calamine lotion.

Consult a dermatologist in person with test reports for futhur assessment and treatment.
