Reason For Itchy Rash On Upper Back And Front After Kidney Stone Problem?

I have an itchy rash, mainly on my upper back and front.. and I also suffer from kidney stones... have been having some discomfort recently.. Saw consultant last week.. Tues 10th Dec.. previous CT scan showing a "linear crystals"- seems original stone reduced..But he sent me next day Wed 11th Dec. for an MRI... I don't know results of that yet- but the rash started today and is driving me mad!

Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read your query and understood your concern.
There is no relation whatsoever with your stone and the rash. So dont get very apprehensive.
The rash that you are having can be fungal, or dermatitis. The location suggests it is very less likely to be fungal. Apply a mild topical steroid like hydrocortisone over the lesion. Take oral anti allergics like cetrizine/ loratadine twice a day to relieve the itching.
Observe for 2 days if there is no improvement, consult a dermatologist to evaluate other causes.

Hope I helped
